Armed and Unarmed Security Officers deployed to enforce rules laws and regulations on posts and provide a safe, customer-friendly presence to the public.
Armed patrol officer responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing a uniformed presence to deter crime and unwanted activity
- Foot patrols of interior and exterior grounds to maximize visibility and face-to-face interaction with the general public
- Mobile vehicle patrols to deter vehicle break-ins, vandalism or stolen auto calls.
- Parking enforcement and issuance of citations.
- Respond to calls for service
- Provide escorts and stationary details as needed
- Give general directions
Unarmed patrol officer responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing a uniformed presence to deter crime and unwanted activity
- Foot patrols of interior and exterior grounds to maximize visibility and face-to-face interaction with the general public
- Mobile vehicle patrols to deter vehicle break-ins, vandalism or stolen auto calls.
- Parking enforcement and issuance of citations.
- Respond to calls for service
- Provide escorts or stationary details as needed
- Give general directions
- RSP Patrol Officers provide ‘quick-hit’ style patrols to properties or communities that are either limited in budget or are of a physical size that ultimately doesn’t require a full shift of patrols but rather a quick, thorough patrol sweep of the area to ensure compliance with rules, laws and regulations.
- Officers assigned to Rapid Sector Patrols typically check on multiple properties/communities throughout their shift across several counties. Deployment and arrival times are sporadic.
Armed and Unarmed Security Officers trained to respond to major community events or during a crisis
ERT officers are highly trained rapid deployment officers responsible for responding to non-scheduled hours emergencies at sites throughout the state.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Respond to natural disasters that severely damage properties and potentially displace residents to maintain order and assist in securing the scene.
- Respond to serious criminal acts that warrant the response of local police as well. ERT officers would provide increased high visibility patrols.
Safety Officers are primarily unarmed security officers deployed at either pre-planned or last-minute events that have attendees of 100+ persons. Responsibilities typically include but are not limited to:
- Bag Checks
- Contraband searches for weapons, drugs or explosives
- Alcoholic beverage service monitoring
- Crowd control and traffic direction
- Access control
- Safety escorts of individuals
- Routine foot patrols
- CCTV monitoring
Trained private detectives staff the unit to provide high quality world-class investigative solutions to modern day issues in both civil or criminal matters
-Detectives conduct plainclothes, non-overt vehicle based or stationary (on foot) surveillance of targets.
- Detectives gather photos, videos and other data crucial to completing the investigation or for court related purposes.
- Testify in court as needed
- Interviews may be conducted of witnesses regarding defendant whereabouts
